Dr. Willis H. Tsai

MD, FRCPC, FAASM, MSc

Dr. Willis Tsai is a Clinical Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Community Health Sciences at the University of Calgary. He is a staff respirologist at the Rockyview General Hospital and Foothills Medical Centre Sleep Centre; as well as a member of the Rockyview Respirology Consultants (R2C). He received his medical degree from the University of Toronto, and is certified in Internal Medicine (University of Toronto), Respirology (Western University), and Sleep Medicine (University of Calgary). During post-doctoral research training in Sleep Medicine, he also received a MSc (Clinical Epidemiology) from the University of Calgary.

Dr. Tsai has an active clinical practice in general respirology and sleep medicine. He also has an interest in COPD management as well as point of care ultrasound (American College of Chest Physicians). His research interests relate to the use of administrative data, health outcome assessment and clinical prediction rules. He is actively involved in graduate student supervision.
